Game: Enigma
review by Demonthenes, Sep 18 2003, 6:19pm EST

Some of you may have heard of the popular game the Hideout, which has now been down for several months, but I have come to, hopefully, attract some attention to a similar game: Enigma

It has vagely the same idea as most of the EV games (space trading and combat), minus the top down piloting a ship around, plus many other possibilities; such as global multiplayer, and many more interactive government functions.

the game is turn based, but not everyone runs on the same turns, basically you can take off and do however much you can and then land for 20 hours at which point you may take off again.

You may be thinking that you wouldnt have enough time to play a game such as this, but, you can put in however much tme you want, whether it be 5 min every day to do your turn, or hours getting more involved and chatting with members of other govts to improve relations with them. (most players use AIM, and occaisionally go on IRC[channel: #enigma]).

Unfortuneatly the game is very short of players at the moment as many have had to leave due to other commitments, to try other things, lost intrest etc. though it is a very good game. so, any new players would be more than welcome!
