Snow Track
![]()
The Snow track is actually an all pavement track, but because of the various easily seen and not so easily seen ice hazards I've always though of it as an off-road track. This track is best driven with a slower car because of the ice and because it has a lot of turns back to back and never really gives you a chance to get up to a high speed. Turn By Turn Walkthrough: 1. The first turn of this track is a simple bend to the right. This one should be easy. 2. The second turn is a fairly long turn to the left, you'll need to slow down a bit to complete this turn. 3. The third turn is another left turn, but its a bit sharper and you'll need to slow down just a bit more. Upon exiting this turn you'll need to make sure you get your car stabilized before you get too far down the hill. There is an ice patch that is nearly invisible about halfway down the hill and if you hit it while still turning you could easily spinout. 4. At the bottom of the hill is a sharp right turn, be careful here as well as on the right side of the turn is another patch of hard to see ice. 5. After the small hill you have a long shallow left turn. It would be an easy turn except its covered with an ice / snow mix. Its hard to give a description on what to do on this type of icy turn as different types of cars drive fairly differently on it. One option is to slow way way down, that way you can easily make the turn. Another option that's a bit more dangerous is to try and nick the snow just right so you get a bit of traction and can turn a bit more left than if you were just on the ice. You'll just have to experiment with this turn yourself to see what you want to do. 6. After the jump you have an easy turn to the left and then another easy turn to the right, but watch out there is another invisible patch of ice at the area where you start your turn back to the right. 7. The next to last turn is a shorter version of the ice / snow turn. On this one you can attempt to go through the snow on the left, if you do it right you can go fairly fast and miss most of the ice, when you hit the pavement again your car will stick instead of sliding on the ice. 8. The last turn is a easy turn to the left. |
