Redline is certainly worth the $25 price tag. If you want access to all of the cars, tracks, and challenges, you will need to register. Note that after registering, you will not automatically have access to all the cars. You will need to unlock each one via the challenges.

Cars:
You will only be able to unlock 4 cars before registering. When first playing only the Mini is available. The other 3 cars will need to be unlocked via the challenges.
DeLorean
Golf
Mini
Vette
Tracks:
You also will only have access to 2 tracks before registering. These are:
High Speed Loop
City Short Circuit
Challenges:
Only 3 challenges will be unlockable before registering. These are:
- Accelerating & Braking 1 (unlock DeLorean)
- Accelerating & Braking 2 (unlock Vette)
- Slalom 1 (unlock Golf)
Other notes:
- You cannot join games that are set to "Registered players only".
- You cannot play custom tracks or cars.
- A "demo" icon will appear next to your name when on the tracker.
- Attempting to hack Redline and bypass the reg check will result in unplayable physics. Don't even bother trying this.
