- Gently accelerate to push the car harder around turns, as this causes the rear end to dig in to the ground
- Generally a good mid to upper level car, although not as fast as the GT, Porsche, or Diablo
The Viper is one of the few cars that can compete with cars above is class. It is fast and fairly stable. While it does seem to lack quick acceleration off the starting line it can beat the faster cars in the corners. In some ways the Viper is just more fun to drive than the fast four wheel drive cars like the Porsche 959 or Diablo. It doesn't help you straighten out the turns as much and it feels like you have a bit more control. Beating someone in a super fast GT with your Viper is a very good feeling indeed.
Like all rear wheel drive cars you'll need to be careful not to spin out on hard turns or while trying to get out of the grass. Also I wouldn't recommend it for either of the off-road courses, or for the super fast Canyon Race Track. But for the slower, turn-y-er road courses like the High Speed Loop.
