- Lighter than most cars and tends to leave the road a bit more than other cars on minor jumps
- Drives a bit looser than the Diablo but is still a very good counter to the Diablo and GT
The Porsche 959 is one of my favorite cars to race with. It takes off fast from the starting line and is one of the fastest of the RRL (Redline racing league) recognized cars. The Porsche is lighter than the other cars in its class and it will tend to jump off the track a little more than cars of similar speed causing a loss of traction where heavier cars might gain a slight advantage by sticking to the road.
The 959's four wheel drive makes it extremely stable, it will nearly always return to going straight forward once you stop turning. But the four wheel drive also makes it a bit harder to force around tight turns, you'll have to learn to either slow way down or learn to get it to slide around a turn.
All in all the Porsche 959 is easy enough to drive and fast enough to keep up with any competition you might face.
