The BMW 2002 is kind of an odd car. Its not as fast as the fast cars and it somehow turns like no other car in the game. If you turn too hard the car will lean into the turn and then the back end will very quickly and unexpectedly spin around leaving you pointing in the wrong direction.
This makes the BMW a bit harder to drive than some of the other cars in its class, but it does have the side effect of making the BMW really good at taking tight turns, if you can manage not to spinout that is.
Overall this car won't win any high speed races, but you might be able to embarrass someone with it in a slower speed race.
